They are building a new payments platform that leverages the latest advancements in blockchain technology and crypto.
They aim to challenge the status quo of payments dominated by an oligopoly of card schemes on legacy banking systems, creating solutions for permissionless, self-sovereign, global, and frictionless payments.
Much of what they build is experimental and not yet adopted by retail customers or businesses. Their focus is on crafting the best product with cutting-edge tech to drive adoption on both consumer and merchant sides.
About the Role
Their Commercial Team drives customer acquisition and engagement for their Business segment.
They seek a motivated professional to collaborate with the Head of Expansion and Growth teams to expand their customer base, establish scalable processes for sustained growth, and build regional commercial teams.
As their first Commercial Hire for Latin America, you will lead revenue generation and sales strategy development.
This position suits someone with a startup mindset, eager to build and scale sales from the ground up, while autonomously managing a sales pipeline from prospecting to activation.
What will you be doing:
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand their presence and market share in Spanish-speaking Latam.
Design, implement, and refine the sales process and playbook to ensure repeatability and scalability for future team members.
Identify, engage, and acquire new clients, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified leads from prospecting to activation.
Establish and manage strategic distribution, channel, and commercial partnerships to drive adoption and market penetration.
Gather, analyze, and share client and market feedback with product, growth, and leadership teams to influence strategy and roadmap.
Define, monitor, and report on KPIs to measure sales, partnerships, and commercial performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the Head of Expansion and Growth team to co-create and execute GTM plans, experiments, and regional campaigns.
Hire, train, and manage commercial and sales teams across the region, fostering a high-performance culture as they scale.
Work closely with marketing, compliance, and operations to align regional priorities and ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in B2B sales in payments, fintech, or related industries
Interest in crypto payments / stablecoins / cross-border finance
Strong entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to wear multiple hats
Proven ability in driving the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
Strong sales / communications skills
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent leadership, team-building, and management skills
Fluent in English and Spanish
Nice to Have
Prior experience in blockchain or crypto projects
Network in the fintech or payments ecosystem
