About the Role

They're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive their Marketplace, the two-sided engine connecting the clients who need work done with the freelancers who deliver it.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You won't manage a team; you'll own outcomes. You'll take products end to end, from problem definition to shipping and iterating on the metrics that matter, working directly with engineering, design, and data.

You know marketplaces in your bones: how supply and demand feed each other, where liquidity breaks, how a change on one side ripples to the other. You use AI relentlessly to move faster and build more with less. And when you hit a problem, your instinct is to open the data, talk to users, and ship a fix, not schedule a meeting about it.

What You'll Do

• Own the product end to end: Define, build, and ship improvements across the marketplace, and own the metrics that prove it worked (supply health, conversion, retention, GMV).

• Drive both sides of the marketplace: Improve outcomes for clients and freelancers, and fix the dynamics between them: matching, liquidity, quality, trust, leakage.

• Build with AI: Use AI tools across your workflow (research, specs, prototyping, analysis) to ship faster and better, and bring AI-native ideas to a company rebuilding around them.

• Execute through the team: Partner directly with engineering, design, and data. No hand-offs, no bottlenecks: surface trade-offs early, make the call, keep things moving.

• Optimize how you ship: Continuously improve product workflows to raise team speed, quality, and time to market.

• Close the loop: Ground decisions in user feedback and data, then ship the adjustments.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• Senior product experience on a two-sided marketplace: 5+ years in product, with real experience on a platform serving both sides of a market and driving delivery from concept to launch.

• A doer, not a manager: You've shipped real product with your own hands recently, not just run a team that did.

• AI-native: You already use AI tools daily and have sharp opinions on where they help and where they don't.

• Bias for execution and ownership: You move fast, own the outcome, and don't wait for permission.

• Curious and ambitious: You dig into problems others gloss over, and you want to build something that matters.

• Data-informed judgment: You use data and metrics to sharpen decisions and drive continuous improvement, without hiding behind them.

• A great product school: You've worked somewhere you learned how amazing products get built, and can bring that standard here.

• Web/App startup experience: You've thrived in a startup where flexibility and agility are key, especially web or app.
